Wellness is more than just being in good health and more than just feeling happy. There are eight dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, social, and spiritual. Each of these dimensions can affect your overall quality of life. It is important to take inventory of these areas in your life and find ways to improve your overall wellness.
- Physical – Recognizing the need for physical activity, healthy foods, and sleep
- Emotional – Developing awareness and ability to effectively cope with feelings
- Environmental – Establishing a pleasant and stimulating space that support well-being
- Financial – Satisfaction with current and future finances
- Intellectual – Exploring creative abilities and seeking to expand knowledge and skills
- Occupational – Personal satisfaction and enrichment from one’s work
- Social – Developing a sense of connection, belonging, and well-developed support system
- Spiritual – Exploring sense of purpose and meaning in life

About Me
My approach to therapy is very collaborative. Our sessions are a journey, you are in the driver seat, and I am your passenger. We go where you want, and as slow/fast as you want. I will suggest we turn down certain roads to explore. Ultimately, what we find will be up to you.
I strive to be the kind of therapist that I want to see. My goal is to hold a safe place for you to express yourself (yes, all of it), find your strengths, and learn tools to elicit change regardless of the circumstances you face.
Let’s face it, life is hard, very hard sometimes. None of us have all the answers, but my job is to use the knowledge and skills I have acquired as a therapist to help you find the answers you are looking for.
I believe that some of our biggest challenges lie in our fear of being vulnerable and the fear of the unknown. Sometimes those things are in our life, other times they are things within ourselves.
Finding clarity and peace among all the confusing emotions and choices we experience is part of it, but it is also exploring ourselves, our values, and our hopes, and consciously choosing the way we want to live our life that evokes real change.
But, know this–there is nothing wrong with who you are. We are all human and you are not alone. (Read that again)
This is the time for you. Too often we give so much of ourselves to all the obligations we have that we forget to refill our own cups.
You deserve at the very least, an hour for yourself.
